History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Valida learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Valida was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Map Maker. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He has no hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his red robe, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. Her brown hair is cut short. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: Carlin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. Her tied-back hair is silver. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Torbera was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts
