History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Fax was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Fax's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
