History: Blendaeth hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
