Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Cook profession.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Cook, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Sorath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Sorath and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants revenge against gnolls

She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
