History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Ulla's homeland. Ulla decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Nurkara abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
