History: Sarah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Tim was born with his father's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Priest, but he was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Tim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oloric grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oloric. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. A true patriot, Ethereal would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ethereal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Motivation: Revenge; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
