To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Reynard. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Delre was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: Oblar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great joy in being the best Painter in town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Phann reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother
