History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Beggar soon after.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hecat was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Lavinia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Farmer.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a bricklayer again

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Five was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
