History: Gurdis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second daughter.
