Through the years after Faral was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Faral's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Faral and her spouse have recently divorced.

He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to orcs.

Motivation: He is greedy; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
