History: Gardain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Gardain and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
