Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A 3'1" northern woman, she wears a white deerstalker hat and white clothes. Her chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His fur, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: 5'11" and muscular, this northern man wears a violet vest and prefers white and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Server. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Server.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a tan costume with the symbols of death on her torso. Her brown hair is smooth and relatively long. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered drow who tried to eat her hand. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Meriele was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.
