History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jarana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jarana. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Soveliss was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Seebo was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs. His blue hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His eyes are red and beady.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Courier for the past few years.

With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Fletcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
