Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Mantus hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Mantus was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mantus's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Three is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Three was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
