His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His white eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Kairon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kairon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Silent does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Silent and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
