History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. After a long history of fighting, Bucklal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a longsword on his belt. His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. William fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. She has worked as a Ploughman like her father before her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Oriff lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Oriff reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by her family.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.
