History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A freak accident while working with her Laborer father left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
