Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Anne is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Anne alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a Bather first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. After months of barely getting by, Melech managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has a very tight haircut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Lamlis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and revenge

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her hair is golden and very short. She has blue eyes and a tan hat with a black feather.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.
