History: Rolen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in a small island village. He found a children's book about a Halfling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: She was born into a rich family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult
