Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair is short and dark red. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Unvera isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are black and catlike.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Ishte reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ishte fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
