History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Gomory's homeland. Gomory decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
