Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: She was born into a rich family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Heather was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Seamstress.
