Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Layabout mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This woman wears white painted combat armor at almost all times. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on her right hand. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is greedy

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is long and golden with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has worked as a Barrister like his father before him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears silk and lounges about seductively. Her auburn hair is braided into rings. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Carlin embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Carlin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Carlin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Carlin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Carlin and her spouse have recently divorced.
