History: Fragrant hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Fragrant was a troubled youth. Fragrant decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She became a Miner soon after.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is typically in his Miller uniform. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Manfred was born with his father's beautiful face. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now owns his own business.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
