He has a hunchback. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is an amazing painter.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is greedy

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

She wears long strands of emerald and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her dark red hair is knotted and matted. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Pyra was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
