History: Gifted from a young age, Astaro studied abroad. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. A true patriot, Marigold would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Marigold was born with her mother's beautiful face. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her white hair is knotted and matted. Her gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Greeba hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Greeba was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Greeba decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Ghâm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman very much looks the part of a Unemployed. Her black hair is heavily combed to the left. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She now owns her own business.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.
