History: Donaar was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Kairon was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Matilda was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
