History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Blacksmith, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Herbalist born in the past three hundred years. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and further expansion of business
