History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Thoradin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Osah grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Osah. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
