History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Siffress was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Siffress liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Jebeddo was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he is greedy

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Guard father left him crippled. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
