Through the years after Nala was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Baelitae embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Baelitae was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Baelitae decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she feels kind of lost in life
