History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people

History: She was born in the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Ar-Baruk hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Oriel was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
