Description: A middle-aged man, he likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. William took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Born in the north to a Weaver, Brogg learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She wears her white hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a great chef.
History: Paggen hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
