History: Melissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To protect her home; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by her family

History: Born in the south to a Adventurer, Vlorn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and balancing his hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Orc activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she has money and likes to spend it
