Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
