History: Phelaia was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He struck the Bellfounder job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and wants a kiss
