History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a Bellfounder, her mother struggled to pay the bills. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. Gurdis is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
