History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ar-Gul was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a white shirt, with a grey mid length shorts with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He has blue eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Shágflak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Shágflak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shágflak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
