History: He comes from a rich northern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
