History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Spear was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero.
