History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she has a crush on the local bounty hunter
