History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Dee was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Oskar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Born in the west to a Beggar, Agnes learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
