History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Jeweler. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Carrie was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Sarah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She tends to her Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.
