History: Geoffrey hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Purban alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

History: He got into the Fisher business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fisher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fisher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
