His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Philomena does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother').
