History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Maiathah was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Frederick has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He got into the Mason business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
