History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Xappan grew up listening to his father's many stories. One day when Xappan was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Xappan was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has a long brown ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and retire the richest woman in the south

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and gnomish compassion
