The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Odo was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Description: This western woman is abnormally tall. She wears a yellow tunic with green highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has no hair. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tailor, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy
