History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a Marshal, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Guard. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quelenna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Chem speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Chem is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Chem lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and to pay off her debts
