Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shifting is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Brakka was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Engraver. After a long history of fighting, Brakka and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Nicholas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner.
